Please fill in the request form as completely as possible. The dimensions are important so we can give you an accurate price estimate and estimate how much time will be needed for the tattoo.
Yes, we require a €50 deposit to reserve your time slot and cover preparation costs. The deposit can be paid via a payment link, and your appointment will be confirmed once payment has been received. Please note: no deposit means no confirmed appointment. The deposit will be deducted from the total price of your tattoo.
No, a consultation is not required. However, if you would like to discuss your idea in person, you can book a free consultation. We will discuss everything needed to create your design, explain the process and, if you wish, schedule your tattoo appointment straight away.
We generally work by appointment only, but you can always contact us via Instagram or WhatsApp to see if we have availability that day. You can easily send us a message using the WhatsApp button on this website.
No. Although Dutch law allows tattoos from the age of 12 with the consent of a parent or guardian, and from the age of 16 without parental consent, we do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18.
Everyone's skin is different and even with the most careful techniques and high-quality inks, some parts of a tattoo may fade during the healing process. In that case, a touch-up may be helpful and is recommended. If you let us know within the first three months that your tattoo needs a touch-up, we will do this free of charge. After three months, we charge between €20 and €40, depending on how much of the tattoo needs to be touched up.
We only tattoo areas of the face that are outside the central facial area. We do not tattoo around the eyes, nose or mouth.
Yes. However, please be aware that finger tattoos, as cool as they may look, can be difficult to heal. There is a high chance of fading during the healing process. For this reason, we charge €20 to cover material costs for each touch-up session on finger tattoos.
Although children may sometimes be allowed in the studio, we prefer that you do not bring them to your appointment. Our artists need to be able to concentrate during a session, and loud noises or children moving around the studio can be distracting.
Of course! The more the merrier, as we always say. However, please don't bring your entire crew and limit yourself to a maximum of two guests. If the studio becomes very busy or noisy, please keep in mind that we may ask your guests to leave and come back later.
We prefer cash payments because of the way payments are divided between the studio and the artist. If paying in cash is not possible for any reason, contactless payment is also available.
Of course. We are happy to help if you are no longer happy with a tattoo and would like to have it covered. Please keep in mind that we cannot perform miracles: dark areas generally need to be covered with an even darker tattoo. You may therefore want to consider having the existing tattoo treated with laser removal a few times first. Lightening the tattoo can give us more options for a successful cover-up. If you would like advice, you can always book a free, no-obligation consultation.
In principle, it is possible to tattoo over scars. However, the scar must be at least six months old. Tattoos over scar tissue may also heal differently. If you submit a request for a tattoo over a scar, we will ask you to send us a photo of the scar. The artist can then create a design that works well with the scar and find the best possible solution.
Although tattoos are becoming increasingly accepted, this does not mean that they are permitted in every workplace or profession. It is your own responsibility to take this into account in relation to your work.
Stencil and final result: tattoos are applied to an organic surface and will therefore always look slightly different from a drawing on paper. The result may vary depending on your skin type and skin tone. The tattoo artist may also need to adapt the design anatomically in terms of shape, size or colour. It is therefore never possible to provide an exact simulation of the final result.
Complications: allergies, infections and inflammation may occur despite following the highest hygiene standards. The risk of infection can never be completely eliminated. Proper aftercare also plays an important role in preventing complications.
During pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
If you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We will refuse to tattoo you if we have any reason to believe that you are under the influence.
We do not tattoo over moles or scars where a melanoma has been removed.
We do not tattoo infected, damaged or visibly abnormal skin, such as active eczema, psoriasis, wounds or other skin conditions.
We do not tattoo over a tattoo that has not fully healed or over an area that has recently undergone laser tattoo removal and has not yet healed.
We cannot tattoo anyone who is unable to give informed consent.
When confirming your appointment, you pay a €50 deposit. If you need to reschedule, you can do so free of charge up to 48 hours before your appointment. If you reschedule less than 48 hours before your appointment, a new €50 deposit will be required.
After your tattoo appointment, we will explain how to take care of your new tattoo. Healing varies depending on aftercare, skin type and the area of the body. For the best possible healing, please follow these instructions:
Wash your hands with Unicura Balance hand soap before removing the film and/or touching your tattoo.
Remove the film after three to a maximum of five hours.
Clean the tattoo with clean water and Unicura Balance hand soap.
Wet a clean washcloth with hot water and gently press it against the fresh tattoo for approximately 30 seconds. Allow the tattoo to air dry or carefully pat it dry afterwards.
Apply a thin layer of tattoo ointment, such as Bepanthen.
Do not use perfumed products during the first three weeks. We recommend washing your body with Sanex or Neutral shower gel. Avoid long showers and do not scrub the tattoo.
During the first week, apply a thin layer of healing ointment twice a day and gently massage it into the skin to prevent it from drying out.
During the second week, apply an unscented body lotion after washing, such as Neutral.
Avoid excessive stretching of the tattooed area. Be careful with sports and other physical activities for the first two weeks.
Avoid swimming for the first three weeks.
Avoid contact with dirt and oils.
Itching is a normal part of the healing process. Do not scratch. If necessary, apply an unscented lotion.
Avoid sunbeds and direct sunlight for three to six weeks.
Once your tattoo has healed, always use SPF 50+ sunscreen on the tattoo when exposing it to sunlight. Do not apply sunscreen to a tattoo that is still healing.
Take good care of yourself during the healing process. A healthy lifestyle supports your body's ability to heal.
Some swelling and bruising may occur during the first few days. This is a normal response to the tattooing process and is generally nothing to worry about. If your tattoo develops unusual symptoms, such as yellowish crusts or severe redness around the tattoo, please contact us.
